Our Office-Based Teams

Our shore-side teams work collaboratively to ensure seamless operations throughout our global operations. From technical operations to finance, each team plays a pivotal role in ensuring safe, sustainable and efficient operations.

Technical Operations Team

Members of CSL’s Technical Operations team maintain and manage the day-to-day operations of our fleet. They are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ships by providing technical support and guidance to our seafarers on board. They monitor the vessels’ performance, conduct maintenance and repairs, manage inventory and supplies, and oversee compliance with industry regulations.

Commercial Team

CSL’s Commercial team manages the commercial aspects of our business. Team members are responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and supporting our customers on a day-to-day basis. The Commercial team also works closely with our technical operations team to ensure the safe, sustainable, and efficient delivery of cargo for our customers.

Digital Team

CSL’s Digital team develops, implements, and maintains our ship and shore digital technologies and systems. The team identifies and leverages new digital technologies that can improve the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of our operations. They develop and manage various digital systems, such as vessel performance monitoring systems, fleet management software, and predictive maintenance systems. The team also plays a critical role in driving digital transformation across CSL and promoting a culture of innovation.

Finance Team

CSL’s Finance team oversees our financial planning and analysis, accounting, and tax functions. The team plays a critical role in managing our financial risk and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the world. They work closely with other internal teams to ensure financial decisions are aligned with CSL’s overall strategy and goals. Ultimately, the finance team helps us maintain a strong financial position, enabling us to invest in our fleet and people, and grow our business for the future.

Global Technical Services

CSL’s Global Technical Services team is responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of CSL’s vessels. This team works closely with our commercial and technical operations teams to develop and improve vessel designs and technologies to meet the needs of our customers. They oversee the entire shipbuilding process, from design to delivery, ensuring our vessels are built to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The team also provides ongoing support to optimize our ships for best performance throughout their service life.

Legal and Risk Team

CSL’s Legal and Risk team provides legal and risk management expertise to all areas of our business. Team members ensure CSL complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and manage legal risks associated with our operations and transactions. They manage our insurance programs, assessing risks and negotiating coverage, and also help to mitigate legal and financial risks, ensuring CSL operates in a safe, compliant, and responsible manner.

Human Resources and Crewing Team

CSL’s Human Resources and Crewing team manages our ship and shore workforce. This team recruits, trains, and develops employees across the company, ensuring we have the right people with the right skills to support our business. Our crewing specialists ensure our seafarers are well-trained, properly certified, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. The team also promotes a positive and supportive work environment, fostering employee engagement and retention, and ensuring CSL attracts and retains top talent.

ESG Team

CSL’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) team manages and implements CSL’s ESG strategy and initiatives. This team ensures we operate sustainably and responsibly, to minimize the impacts of our operations on people and the environment. The team identifies and assesses risks and opportunities related to ESG factors and integrates them into our decision-making processes. The ESG team also engages with customers and regulatory bodies to ensure our ESG efforts are aligned with stakeholder expectations and industry best practices.

Procurement Team

CSL’s Procurement team is responsible for sourcing and purchasing the goods and services necessary for our operations. This includes everything from fuel and spare parts to catering services for the crew. The team ensures that purchases are made in compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and at the best possible price and quality. They also maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
