Requirements and qualifications for seafaring positions in our Australian-flagged fleet

• Must be certified under the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) unless otherwise specified
• AMSA qualifications require Unlimited Tonnage
• Must be able to hold an AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness and a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
• Must have Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian Working Rights
• Pilotage for captains is an asset. 
• An asset to have experience working on self-unloading ships or bulk carriers
