CSL designed and built the state-of-the-art, purpose-built 26,000 DWT self-unloading vessel, MV Nukumi as part of a strategic partnership with Windsor Salt.
The vessel was custom-built to bring a long-term, safe, sustainable and reliable solution to the delivery of deicing salt to Quebec and Eastern Canada.
MV Nukumi is the first diesel-electric Laker and single-point loader to operate in Canada.
