Magnetite concentrate transhipment operation
- A floating offshore transhipment barge (FOTB) is used to tranship iron ore into an ocean-going vessel (OGV) in Whyalla, South Australia.
- The FOTB receives the cargo from a self-unloading transhipment barge. The cargo is then transhipped onto the OGV using incline conveyors and a telescopic ship loader.
