Magnetite concentrate transhipment operation
- Off the pristine coast of Sept-Iles in Quebec, Canada, a CSL Panamax self-unloading ship laden with anhydrite and gypsum moored alongside a CSL self-unloading Laker to transfer cargo.
- Before commencing cargo transfer operations, the Panamax self-unloader’s discharge boom was installed with a chute for dust mitigation.
- The self-unloading Laker moved its discharge boom to clear the way, allowing the Panamax self-unloader to access the Laker’s cargo holds and perform a direct discharge of the cargo.
