Case study
- A CSL self-unloading vessel shuttled sand and aggregate ballast material from Toulon, France and discharged it directly into 18 caissons in Monaco.
- A second CSL self-unloading ship discharged back-fill material into split-hopper barges that then unloaded in shallow areas inside the sea wall.
- Six hectares of land were created with minimal impact on residents and the environment.
