MV Thunder Bay is Canada Steamship Lines’ first of four Trillium Class self-unloading Lakers to be introduced in the Great Lakes/ St. Lawrence River fleet. Like all Trillium Class vessels, MV Thunder Bay is equipped with leading-edge technology and is designed to provide overall operational efficiency.

The vessel features the latest engine technology and hull design to increase fuel efficiency and decrease air emissions, double hulls to prevent spills in the event of an accident as well as state-of-the-art cargo handling systems to minimize dust and cargo residue.

MV Thunder Bay is wholly owned and operated by CSL.
